The “Made in the USA” claim is regulated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) under 16 CFR Part 323. According to the FTC, you may only advertise a product as “Made in the USA” if “all or virtually all” of the product’s significant parts and processing are of US origin. This means:
All major ingredients must come from the United States (with only negligible foreign content allowed), and
Final assembly or manufacturing must occur in the United States.
Important: Simply manufacturing or packaging a product in the US does not automatically qualify it for an unqualified “Made in the USA” claim if the raw materials or ingredients are imported.
Although manufacturing for the majority of Supliful products takes place in the US (you can check it in the Catalog description), ingredients are globally sourced, and we cannot guarantee that any specific percentage of ingredients consistently comes from the US. In fact, a single ingredient might be sourced from multiple countries depending on availability, and it’s not feasible to track which batch contains US-sourced material versus imported.
Because of this variability, we don’t recommend using “Made in the USA” on its own, as it could be considered misleading under FTC standards.
If you’d like to highlight your US-based manufacturing, a more appropriate phrasing might be:
“Manufactured in the USA using globally sourced ingredients”.
This phrasing remains transparent, avoids regulatory risk, and still communicates your local production advantage. Feel free to rephrase it to match your brand voice, but be sure to emphasize that ingredients are globally sourced.
