By default, when publishing a product from Supliful to Shopify, the stock is not tracked. This is done on purpose because Supliful does not pass any stock details to Shopify, and we recommend that this setting remain unmodified.
Additionally, in your Supliful account advanced settings, it is by default set that whenever a product is set OOS in Supliful, the Shopify product stock will be set to zero.
This is how the inventory settings will look in Shopify when a product is marked OOS in Supliful.
Once OOS is cleared, your Shopify product settings will be set back to not tracking quantity, and your customers can buy it again.
What if you have modified the inventory settings in Shopify?
Let's say, you have gone ahead and modified your inventory settings in Shopify, and they look something like this:
If you have disabled the stock sellout feature in Supliful, nothing will change, and when a product goes OOS, all your investor settings in Shopify will stay the same.
However, if the stock sellout feature in Supliful is enabled and a product goes OOS, your Shopify inventory settings will get updated to the following:
Once a product goes back in stock in Supliful, your initial inventory settings will not get restored but will be adjusted to the following:
