Since some of the Supliful products are available in the US only, and some in the EU and the UK, you will want to make sure that your EU customers do not purchase US-only products and vice versa.
To restrict the product’s availability by country, you will need to create a shipping profile in your Shopify settings. Below is a step-by-step guide on how this can be done.
Log in to your Shopify account, go to Settings → Shipping and Delivery.
In “Custom Shipping Rates”, click “Create new profile”:
Enter the name of the profile (for convenience, it is best to name them by delivery areas, i.e. USA).
In “Products”, click “Add Products” and in the pop-up window select all the products that can be sold in the selected delivery zone. Once ready, click “Done”:
Under “Shipping From” click “Manage” next to Supliful Fulfillment:
In the pop-up window select “New Rates for Supliful Fulfillment” and click “Done”:
Below, a separate section “Shipping From” for Supliful Fulfillment will get created:
Now, you will need to create the shipping zones. In this example, we are creating a shipping zone for the US only. However, for products that are available in both European Union and the UK, you might need to create two different shipping zones (in case you want the cost of the delivery to be different for those two areas).
Click on “Create Shipping Zone”. In the pop-up window enter the name of the zone (in this example, USA) and select the countries that are included in that zone. Once ready, click “Done”:
Next, you will need to add rates for the created zone. It's important to note that these will be the prices your customer pays you for delivering their goods. It means you can:
offer the same shipping prices as Supliful (set up same weight-based rates as Supliful)
earn an extra buck by making the delivery cost slightly higher (set up your rates the way you want them)
set up the delivery price lower, or even free, which is a great marketing strategy for your store.
Under the created shipping zone, click “Add rate”, enter the name of the rate (i.e., “Free Shipping"), and set the price at $0.00, click “Done”:
Once you set the Free Shipping rate, it will look like this:
Repeat the procedure for every shipping zone created.
Setting up Weight-Based Rates
When you publish a product to your Shopify store, all the details are automatically synched, including the product weight. That way, you do not need to enter the weight of each product manually in case you decide to go with the weight-based rates.
If you want to set up the same rates as in Supliful, please refer to the Supliful Shipping Prices. In the below example, we will demonstrate how to set up weight-based rates for the United States.
Under the shipping zone, click Add rate, and in the pop-up window, click on Add Conditions:
Enter the name of the rate (i.e., “Regular”), and following our shipping prices, set the price and the maximum weight. In the screenshot below, you can see that we have set the price to $5 for orders under 1lb:
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each weight category. Once you have them set up, your rates should look similar to this:
Now, repeat steps 1-3 for each shipping zone that you created.
Set Up Your Own Rates
As mentioned, you can set up the weight-based rates if you are willing to charge your customers the exact amount that you will be paying Supliful for the delivery.
However, you are free to set up your rates and charge your customers as much as you want for the shipping.
